Christine is a woman close to my heart. We share a similar background (we both studied architecture at UCT) and her love language is shown in her attention to little details; handwritten notes to everyone special ( I even received one after the wedding!), hand drawn wedding stationary, including her friends in the festivities by allowing them to bake cakes, decorate the reception area and ensuring that everyone felt loved, appreciated and included.
William is no exception. He is the silent support system behind this creative, ensuring the wines arrived on time and that all the details came together whilst Christine had her hair and make-up done.
It's rare to find two families who share very similar, if not identical values, and Christine and William's wedding was a true reflection of everyone being totally on board to see them tie the knot.
Muldervlei's historical Cape Dutch architecture and their lush gardens were the perfect bakdrop for their garden style, intimate, wedding celebration. The decor was relaxed, and natural, including beautiful table runners of greenery and warm ambient lighting achieved with naked bulbs and candles. The day felt like a slow summer festival, and continued well into the hours of the night when the party kicked off on the dance floor;
