Stef and An-Mari's engagement session, was a true reflection of, you can plan as much as you wish, but sometimes the weather has other plans in store :)
We were diligently keeping an eye on the weather for their engagement session, and all the apps and forecasts predicted clouds and a little drizzle...but as we parked our cars we were greeted by a full on storm with heavy down pour. I was very close to suggest a reschedule, when An-mari was all in after I discovered a green umbrella in my car and me saying, 'Okay, let's see what we can capture in the next 20 minutes....'
A few minutes in, the rain cleared, the clouds lifted and we could adventure along the beach until the last rays dipped below the horizon and the skies turned bright pink (the most vivid sunset I've ever experienced!)
Thank you An-Mari + Stef for trusting me, and braving the rainy, cold weather! I think this is probably one of my favourite shoots do date. Free-spirited, adventurous and oh-so-romantic! Here are a few of my favourite frames form their session;
