HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Rico and Nicole met 13 years ago when they were still teens, spending afternoons at the school swimming pool. Rico made the first move by asking Nicole's sister for her phone number and the rest as they say is history.

These two are such a great match, both strong personalities, but with grace to allow each to flourish. I was especially taken by Rico's old world charm and chivalry, constantly checking in if Nicole is having a great time. Nicole would get a wave of serenity in her eyes every time Rico is near, I was mesmerised by these two for sure!

For their wedding celebration, Rico and Nicole opted for a smaller wedding, which only included their family and closest friends. They even crafted an order of events which allowed for a long canapé 'hour' which ensured they could spend ample time with every guest present.

Their celebration can be described as a festive, elegant wedding day with splashes of dramatic colour - little nods to Rico's Portuguese heritage and Nicole's demure, yet beautiful personality. This day was a joy to photograph and I can only imagine what the future holds for these two.
