When I first found out that Ross was a pilot, I knew that we would instantly get along sharing a love for travel. A month before their wedding, Caroline passed her pilot's license, making them a power couple even before they said I Do!
Their celebration was the first I could photograph after almost 8 months of strict lockdown and it was everything a photographer could wish for. They opted for a more intimate gathering and being able to spend more time with less people made the experience even more special.
Caroline and Ross planned all the day's events around spending time with their loved ones. After their vows they enjoyed sparkling wine under the trees and every detail which followed was chosen to encourage interaction snd making memories.
The sharing plates was a modern take on the family style buffet dinners and I can highly recommend the gnocchi - I even swopped my steak for more pasta it was THAT GOOD!
By placing emphasis on the things which matter most to them; their friends and family, they didn't need lavish decorations to make their friends and family feel loved. Small gestures of kindness were sprinkled throughout the day, writing little love notes to each other before the ceremony, receiving gifts of sentimental value and having their grandparents present contributed to a new level of magic.
Here are some of my favourite moments of their special celebration;
