It is not often that you meet a couple and it all makes sense. Francois and Marisha is this rare exception, their union just makes sense. They have a warmth and synergy which is so hard to put into words.
Our paths first crossed a year ago, when I photographed Francois brother's wedding. I was super excited when they decided to book me for their celebration, planned exactly a year after our first meeting on 8 October 2018.
The one request for their day was - 'Marli, we don't want anything posed or staged. We also want a super short sunset session to just sneak off for a couple of frames of just the two of us.' This ensured the day had an ease to it and they could spend ample time with their loved ones whilst being part of all the festivities. Even though the day was very overcast, their images are filled with so much warmth. Here's to many more adventures and ultra-marathons together!
