Cape Town, RSA
We first met (you've guessed it!) at my favourite Taco and Mexican food Bar, El Burro for drinks. As soon as we started chatting I knew I would just get along with Kenny and Chloe. They have a relaxed demeanour and an appetite for adventure. They value the simple things in life - social gatherings with great friends, delicious food, celebration which is unpretentious by nature, Cape Town (who doesn't love this city).... I think you're convinced right?
I was just thrilled when they emailed me a few weeks later to say that I have been chosen to document their special day in February 2018.
On the day of their engagement session, Cape Town was hit by a much needed rain storm. Every hour we would check if the weather would clear. By 17h00 the skies opened and we were spoiled with the best, most crisp sunset light.
Kenny and Chloe kept saying they were terrible subjects to photograph, but I tend to disagree. I had a super hard time during post-production to not include every single photograph in their collection. I am really excited to document their wedding celebration early next year at the beautiful Uiljenes just outside Stanford. Without further adieu, a few of my favourites from their engagement session.
