When couples choose locations of meaning to them, the session starts off more relaxed. An added bonus is when they decide on locations which I am equally in love with.
Carl and Lizahn loves spending lazy afternoons in the beautiful gardens of Babylonstoren, sipping wine and relaxing.
The farm recently designed a greenhouse specifically for all the cactii on the farm as a spot during winter to stay warm. We started our shoot in the beautiful timber structure and I was especially excited about the gorgeous colour palette we were greeted by. Wintery engagement sessions are becoming a firm favourite!
Carl and Lizahn knew each other from school, but only started dating during their varsity years. It became clear that these two are strong individuals in their own right, and I loved to see how they give each other space when needed - such a beautiful synergy to witness.
Initially when Lizahn contacted me for their wedding, I was unavailable for their date, but she soon received a call from one of the venues they were considering regarding a cancellation - on a date I was still available. I'm a strong believer in things happening for a reason and can't be more excited for their wedding in December!
